Delivery Policy
1. How delivery works
All Kirk Copywriting deliverables are digital. No physical products are dispatched. Completed copy is delivered electronically, typically via:
- Shared Google Document (view or edit access, as preferred)
- Notion page (for clients who use Notion)
- Microsoft Word (.docx) file sent by email
- Plain text or Markdown (for developers and technical clients)
Your preferred format can be specified during the kick-off process. If no preference is stated, we default to Google Docs.
2. Delivery timelines
Timelines below begin from the date of the project kick-off call, not the date of purchase. The gap between purchase and kick-off is typically 1–3 business days.
| Service | Typical first draft delivery |
|---|---|
| Website copy (Starter) | 5–8 business days |
| Website copy (Standard / Complete) | 8–14 business days |
| Sales pages (Short) | 4–6 business days |
| Sales pages (Long / Launch) | 7–12 business days |
| Email sequences (Welcome) | 4–6 business days |
| Email sequences (Nurture / Launch) | 7–12 business days |
| Brand messaging (Core) | 6–10 business days |
| Brand messaging (Full) | 10–16 business days |
| Content strategy | 7–14 business days |
| Launch copy (Mini) | 8–12 business days |
| Launch copy (Full) | 14–21 business days |
| Custom packages | Agreed at kick-off |
These are first draft timelines. Revision rounds add 2–4 business days per round. Total project duration is typically 2–4 weeks.
3. Priority delivery
If you need a faster turnaround, the Priority Delivery add-on is available at checkout. This reduces first draft delivery by approximately 50% and ensures your project is scheduled ahead of standard queue. Priority delivery is subject to current availability — if we cannot accommodate it at the time of your order, we will inform you and offer a full refund of the add-on fee.
4. Delivery to your team
If your project needs to be delivered to a third party (e.g., your designer, developer, or marketing manager), please provide their contact details at kick-off. We are happy to share files directly with them and coordinate formatting requirements.
5. Delays
If Kirk Copywriting anticipates a delay for any reason within our control, we will inform you as soon as possible and provide a revised timeline. Delays caused by incomplete client briefs, late feedback, or extended periods of non-response are not within our control and may push timelines forward accordingly.
6. File retention
Project files are retained on our systems for 90 days after final delivery. If you need to re-request a file within this window, contact us. After 90 days, files may be archived or deleted and we cannot guarantee retrieval.
